Is 121Books.org for students or adults?

Print

Both. Our initial focus is on providing general interest books. We purchase popular titles as rated by major online retailers. We will then shift our focus to textbooks.

Memberships are available to all U.S. citizens, regardless of where you may live, and all persons living in the U.S. who are print disabled, to include blindness, low vision, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, a reading or learning impairment, or a physical or mobility impairment that makes it difficult or impossible to read standard printed material.

How do I prove I am print disabled?

Print

121Books.org requires that you affirm you possess a qualifying print disability. But keep in mind; you may not diagnose yourself with anything. Exactly what your qualification is may only be determined by a professional who is licensed and/or qualified to make such a determination.

May I still join if I do not live in the U.S.?

Print

Maybe. U.S. Copyright Law only allows 121Books.org to offer memberships to U.S. citizens (wherever they may live) or U.S. residents (non-citizens living in the U.S.). If you do not fit into one of these two categories, you may not Join.

What type of books and magazines are available?

Print

We offer any title and subject that is available to the public. We do not offer adult only material (don't ask, don't submit, and please don't complain). We are prohibited from offering “dramatic works,” such as the script for a play or movie. 121Books.org refrains from making value or moral judgments. If it may be purchased by the general public and does not require an adult ID, we will convert and offer it for download.
