What are School Accounts?

These are for Schools and Institutions to provide accessible texts to their students or members.

Does the School Acct Mgr receive a 121file license?

Yes. 121Books.org will grant full site access to the Group Account Manager (GAM). This way the GAM may review any 121File that is available to their Group. Additional staff members may use one of the on-line licenses to access 121Books.org or 121Files. However, because our 121Files are digitally identical to a physical textbook, individual teachers should not require access.

GAMs are encouraged to choose a generic user name for their Group/School Account and the password should be unique for 121Books.org (not one used for personal password protected items). This will provide the greatest ease when granting co-workers access to 121Files.

What comes with a Group Account?

121Books.org issues a block of 10 one-time-use non-expiring coupons to the Group Account Manger. The Account Manger may then purchase additional blocks after logging into the 121Books.org site. The coupons are in the form of a coupon code that is entered when Joining 121Books.org.  Each coupon is valid for 1 Annual Membership.

Why use coupons?

The Group Account Manager may issue these to their students when needed. The coupons do not expire, and are each valid for 1 Annual Membership. This ensures that any unused coupons are still available for the following semester or year. The coupons one-time-use prevents a student from “passing along” the coupon code and depleting the Group's available memberships. However, if it is determined that a membership was incorrectly activated, just contact 121Books.org and we will deactivate it and issue a new replacement coupon.

How much do these coupon blocks cost?

Only $40 per student ($400 total), a 20% savings.  The first coupon block is included with a new Group Membership.

Are payments other than CCs accepted?

Yes. We will provide you with a Purchase Invoice via email. After your payment is processed, we will activate the Membership Coupons.  Future Coupon Blocks are activated immediately.

Are there any limitations for these students?

No. These will allow your students to take full advantage of not only your required textbooks, but our entire 121Collection. The student will also be required to affirm they are print disabled when they Join.

How do our students renew their memberships?

First, the Group Acct Mgr may issue them a new coupon. The student may then use this coupon to purchase an additional annual membership.

Second, if the individual is no longer a student or it is determined not to provide the individual with a Group coupon; the individual may continue their membership at their own expense.

Do Group Accounts still qualify for FREE conversion?

Yes.  The School or Group may submit texts for immediate conversion and posting. Our conversion service is also available to your students through their Memberships.
