Since the discussion was continued offline, I'm curious as to the outcome -- Can Kurzweil 3000 successfully read secured PDF files from 121books, does it require some tweaking or a workaround, or does it remain a problem?

Thanks in advance.

I believe this user is continuing to have difficulties with Kurzweil. This appears to be a conflict with our document protection methods and how pdfs are delivered to Kurzweil.

While we do not prevent the use of third-party screen readers, we do not provide support either. If for any reason you feel a particular screen reader app is necessary, please test this functionality during a free trial membership.
