Group Membership 1 Year, 10 Months ago
|
|
|
As coordinator of services for students with disabilities, if I purchased a group membership:
Would ten students be able to access your books for one year? For their 4 years at the college?
Can they borrow unlimited books for that time?
Must I renew the membership every year? Would I receive ten more coupons?
Is there a limit to the number of books you will convert? Per student? Per year?
Do you ever reject a particular book?
Thank you.

1. Each coupon is valid for 1 Annual Membership. These may be issued to 10 separate students or just a few students. Unused coupons will remain valid for future use. Additional coupons, in blocks of 10, may be purchased when needed.
2. Yes. Each student will have access to our entire 121Collection.
3. No; you would just need to purchase additional coupon blocks when needed. Your students would need to renew their memberships annually. You may issue them unused coupons or they may continue at their own expense.
4. There is no limit. We actually encourage our members to send us any and all books they can. This helps build the 121Collection for everyone's benefit.
5. We will not convert any Adult Only materials. According to Federal Law, we may not convert musical scores or scripts of plays or musicals. It is our policy not to make moral, religious, or other subjective determinations as to what we make available. We also began offering to return submitted books, but we have had a few that we were unable to process without removing the book’s spine due to narrow center margins.
Our Group Membership comes with a free 2-week trial before our system will bill you. I just noticed this in not memtioned on the Sign-Up page, I will request that our Webmaster updates the description.
