School Membership 1 Year, 7 Months ago

Hello,
We are considering joining your service, but had some questions. First, it looks like a school membership isn't eligible for the free trial. Is that true? Second, I'm a little unclear still about how the coupons work. If we dole out our coupons our students how do they use them? Are they able to send in the books they'll need for class and have them scanned? Can we send them in on their behalf if it's easier? Is there a limit on how many books each of them can have converted to an alternate format each year? Third, how long is a group membership valid for? Fourth, if we have turn over among our students (graduations, study abroad, etc.) can we transfer the coupon to another student. Finally, do we just mail the books to you (can we have the students purchase them from Amazon and have them sent to you, for instance?) How long does it usually take to have the books converted? Thanks for answering our questions!
Sincerely,
Lina M.

1. Group Memberships have a two week trial period. The fee is then billed after two weeks. You will have complete access to our collection during the trial for testing and evaluation of our service. You may cancel anytime during the trial to avoid any fees.
2. Your students would visit our site and join as a "Group Member, FREE with coupon." They enter the coupon on the payment page and are granted an (1) Annual Membership. These students have the same benefits of any other member. They (and the School) may send in as many books as desired and take advantage our free conversion service. There is an optional $5 return shipping fee that covers up to 5 books if they require their book(s) returned.
3. The Group Membership is perpetual. Group Memberships are really a way for a group to purchase discounted individual memberships and distribute them to their group members/students. The initial cost of a Group Membership, $400, includes 10 Annual Membership Coupons. Additional 10 coupon blocks may be purchased when/if needed.
4. Coupons are valid for one Annual Membership and remain valid until used/issued by the School. As students graduate, or otherwise complete a semester or school term, they will continue to have access to 121Books.org during the remaining term of the Annual Membership. New and/or returning students may be issued new coupons for another year of access.
5. Submitted books may be mailed to our mailing address for conversion. USPS media mail is typically the cheapest option but not the fastest. Sites such as Amazon normally allow for a separate billing and shipping address. We request 5 business days after they arrive to complete our conversion and posting to the site.
